In 2017, at a bustling western wholesale clothing market in Vegas, I was on a quest for the perfect leather belt—something that would be both stylish and durable, like a genuine leather western belt. After searching through countless booths for days, I only found options that were either exorbitantly priced or lacked authenticity. It became clear that there was a dire need for high-quality, beautifully crafted leather goods that truly embodied the spirit of the West.

Determined to fill this gap, my daughter Kiley and I began our research and development as soon as we returned home. We spent countless hours experimenting with different designs, from a handmade black leather belt to a leather concho belt, ensuring each piece was perfect. After much trial and error, we finally crafted the PERFECT Leather Hip Belt, combining style, comfort, and authenticity. We even ventured into creating specialty items like a studded belt in black and white, and a belt with crystals, each uniquely designed to cater to various tastes.

Our creative journey didn’t stop there. We expanded our range to include handcrafted leather pieces such as table runners, napkin rings, Christmas stockings, jewelry, and more—all with the same attention to detail as our belts. Our first show was at a barrel race, where Kiley was competing. The response was overwhelming—the western community instantly embraced our creations, whether it was a boho leather belt or a western brown belt. Their enthusiasm confirmed that we had captured something special.

Today, Copper & Lace Western Boutique has proudly settled into the charming heart of Downtown Paso Robles, the hometown where our story began. In September 2023, we opened our doors to this vibrant community that perfectly mirrors the spirit of our creations. We've put down roots here, and we invite you to step into our world, a world where each handcrafted piece, from a cream belt to a red belt, tells a story of care, passion, and the journey that brought us here.
